Edith Cavell, Vera Brittain, the
Pankhursts... these women all lived through the Great War of 1914 -
1918, and so did members of your family.
Women's experience of the war has
often been overlooked; but here, using a blend of words, music, and
visual imagery, the two members of Arcus Theatre Company show
us something of what life was like for women at this time.
The show grew out of the Company's
drama-documentary Innocence and Experience
and has played to many Family History Societies.
It has been described as
"very moving," and "a unique and unusual
presentation".
